The M4 Celbridge Interchanges Scheme is unusual insofar as it passes through the designed parkland landscape of Castletown House. It was paramount that the road did not adversely impact on upon the framed view of Connolly’s Folly along a northwest viewing axis.
High berms were used to provide screening of the road and traffic. MosArt were later commissioned to design and implement the landscape scheme for the project.
